Pointing Your Domain Name to Your Rocket.net Website
1. Log in to your DNS provider.
Go to your domain registrar (e.g., GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare) and navigate to DNS settings.
2. Locate the A record.
Find the existing A record for your domain (typically labeled @
). If multiple A records exist, ⚠️ remove any others to avoid conflicts. Edit this record and update the IPv4 address to:
104.19.154.92
Click Save.
3. Update the www record.
Locate the CNAME record for www
. If it exists, edit it to point to your domain name. If no www
record exists, create one:
- Type: CNAME
- Name: www
- Value: Your domain name (e.g.,
yourdomain.com
)
Click Save.
4. Notify Rocket.net for final setup.
Email help@wplaunchify.com with:
- Your current LaunchKit URL (provided at signup).
- Your new domain name (now pointed using the steps above).
5. Verify and wait for DNS propagation.
⚠️ DNS changes can take up to 48 hours to fully update. You can check progress using whatsmydns.net by entering your domain and checking the A record resolution. Rocket.net will notify you when your domain is ready.
Once complete, your domain will be successfully pointed to Rocket.net! 🚀
