Fluent Community: Managing Spaces and Groups

Fluent Community offers Spaces for broad topics and Groups for focused discussions. Here’s how to manage them effectively.


Create a New Space

  1. Go to Fluent Community > Spaces.
  2. Click Add New Space.
  3. Enter a Name & Description. Keep it concise and relevant.
  4. Choose Privacy Settings. Options: Public, Private, or Hidden.
  5. Click Save. Your new Space is ready!

Customize a Space

  1. Navigate to the Space Settings.
  2. Edit Name, Description, and Permissions.
  3. Upload a Cover Image. Keeps it visually distinct.
  4. Set Posting Rules. Define who can post and interact.
  5. Save Changes. Your Space is now tailored to your needs.

Create a New Group

  1. Go to Fluent Community > Groups.
  2. Click Add New Group.
  3. Enter Group Name & Purpose. Be clear about its focus.
  4. Choose a Parent Space (if needed). Helps with organization.
  5. Set Privacy & Membership Rules. Public, Private, or Invite-Only.
  6. Click Save. Your Group is now active!

Manage Group Membership

  1. Go to the Group Settings.
  2. Add or Remove Members.
  3. Assign Moderators (if needed).
  4. Enable Notifications for Important Updates.
  5. Click Save Changes.

⚠️ Tip: Organize Spaces around broad themes and use Groups for niche discussions. Keep permissions aligned to ensure a smooth user experience.
