Fluent Community: Managing Spaces and Groups
Fluent Community offers Spaces for broad topics and Groups for focused discussions. Here’s how to manage them effectively.
Create a New Space
- Go to Fluent Community > Spaces.
- Click Add New Space.
- Enter a Name & Description. Keep it concise and relevant.
- Choose Privacy Settings. Options: Public, Private, or Hidden.
- Click Save. Your new Space is ready!
Customize a Space
- Navigate to the Space Settings.
- Edit Name, Description, and Permissions.
- Upload a Cover Image. Keeps it visually distinct.
- Set Posting Rules. Define who can post and interact.
- Save Changes. Your Space is now tailored to your needs.
Create a New Group
- Go to Fluent Community > Groups.
- Click Add New Group.
- Enter Group Name & Purpose. Be clear about its focus.
- Choose a Parent Space (if needed). Helps with organization.
- Set Privacy & Membership Rules. Public, Private, or Invite-Only.
- Click Save. Your Group is now active!
Manage Group Membership
- Go to the Group Settings.
- Add or Remove Members.
- Assign Moderators (if needed).
- Enable Notifications for Important Updates.
- Click Save Changes.
